The Event Planner is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion. This role manages logistics, vendors, timelines, budgets, and client communication to ensure each event runs smoothly and meets the client’s vision and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand event goals, vision, and budget
- Develop event concepts, themes, and detailed plans
- Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, decorators, venues, and entertainers
- Manage event timelines, schedules, and checklists
- Oversee venue selection, contracts, and negotiations
- Create and monitor event budgets
- Ensure all logistics (setup, décor, staffing, equipment) are in place
- Supervise event day operations and resolve issues in real time
- Communicate with clients regularly and provide status updates
- Ensure client satisfaction and gather feedback after the event
